A New Start

images (4)

A wink could it be for me, so soon
Who could it be, why Anthea before noon
A photo I see of thee
Look behind thee, yes a tree

Full of life green you see
And what of you centre stage
A sweet smile, can be seen by a mile
Eye’s looking bright at me

I can’t press a button to refresh
You’re a flower in bloom
Do you see this bark all wrinkly hark
Yes Santa’s coming will he bring me thee

You may think I’m playing a lark
No never could I play with your heart
Is it possible two dine with wine
Could we ever both say be mine

I’m not a poet you may know it
However my eye’s tell me do try
We may like our looks
But where not in the same book

Have you seen my image
I’ve never eaten spinach
Me thinx your lovely and bubbly
Shall we make a start Ho’ jubbly

I’ve never seen de sphinx
Me thinx I’m not on your par
We don’t really live that far
Apart is in the mind, let’s find

That golf ball you lost it’s mine
Could we ever maybe never
Be on a green playing sweet
Evergreen all year round bound

By your love of nature, that’s
in Cape town weather so fine
Have you found the one
You have your Caddy
I’m also a Daddy.

Love You Know

photodune-1109169-asian-beauty-skin-care-woman-smiling-touching-her-face-xs

She makes one smile, gladdens the heart

I wonder why, could it be – she’s smart

I’ll run, and skip, for a while – Walmart

Knowing one, is not the true one

But who can say – it’s not done Wong

Tease, tease sweet young thing, so wrong

Rejected old heart

 It’s not that far

How far doe’s a Robin fly

 Not on a par

How far is the sun?

 That makes one glow

How far is that heartbeat?

Warm you know

How far is true love?

Feel it in the wind

How sweet Edwidge ,

Listen so, it’s not a fling

Two love birds must depart

 Outstretched wings

Colour of the sea, colour of the sky, don’t cry

Look, look, see their beauty, all can see

Over hill tops, they glide with such ease

Towards mountain peaks covered in snow

Their favourite colour, blue, you know

When will they return, no one knows

It’s all in the heart beat, spirit and soulp

Complextion

images (2)

A complexion I see to please
Gladdens the heart her tease
Could we ever, the two of us
Maybe partake of tea
To Cornwall, for their famous
clotted cream

Should we go to the dales
Dip our toes in a stream
Or even to Cheddar Gorge
A glass of their wonderful Mead

Her hair a crown fit for a queen
Colours of nature, we love, adore
Could we ever or never walk
through her door

Do you see her smile
She’s so not a bore
Eye’s that shine- glitter, sparkle
I’d like to see more

Alas the sweet looking lass
Surely one is made of glass
Handle with great care

Just like a tree one see’s the bark
Inside it’s not dark, alive with rings
It tells its age just like our forms
We don’t give a damn – madam
