Who could it be, why Anthea before noon
A photo I see of thee

Full of life green you see

Over hill tops, they glide with such ease

Towards mountain peaks covered in snow

Their favourite colour, blue, you know

When will they return, no one knows

A complexion I see to please
Gladdens the heart her tease
Could we ever, the two of us
Maybe partake of tea
To Cornwall, for their famous
clotted cream

Should we go to the dales
Dip our toes in a stream
Or even to Cheddar Gorge
A glass of their wonderful Mead

Her hair a crown fit for a queen
Colours of nature, we love, adore
Could we ever or never walk
through her door

Do you see her smile
She’s so not a bore
Eye’s that shine- glitter, sparkle
I’d like to see more

Alas the sweet looking lass
Surely one is made of glass
Handle with great care
