Do you hear the sound
Still, lay in our slumber
So many, all singing, calling
Not understanding outside
Quiet, stillness this hour so
My breath is all i make
All stop outside i wonder why
Morning has broken
New day awakes
Peaceful than a call …
Know not of
Now the sound that gives all life
Heavy at times as it pours down
Then an annoying drip, hear
No wait, it’s not out side
It’s in my head, well bloody heck
I’ll close my eyes stay in bed.
